تفاوت allow و let

Do you know what is the difference between LET and ALLOW? Both are used to give or ask for permission. but… here is the difference.=>

 

LET is used with Infinitive or prepositional phrase>> example:

They LET me GO out and rest.

They would not LET me STAY out

 

 ALLOW is used with infinitive WITH TO>> example:

will you allow me to introduce myself?

She allowed him TO buy her an expensive watch. :))

 

ALLOW ( passive)>> example:

He is not allowed TO sing at bath.

She wasnt allowed TO play soccer like boys.

 

درواقع بعد از فعل های

LET

MAKE(made)

فعل بعد از اونها بشکل ساده بکار میره. مثلا:

Dont LET me KILL you.

I dont LET you DO that.

I MAKE you DO the dishes.

She MADE me buy her a cellphone
